This will be my only post about breast cancer awareness month. I’m aware.
So very eloquently said, Yvonne. I research charities before I send a donation, but your words make me realize that it’s time to ask more questions, more often when solicited in person. The pink brigades, while mostly well-intended, do seem so trendy. Thanks for raising my awareness on the need for a renewed focus on a cure rather than only on treatment. Well, you know how I feel about this, partly thanks to you! And guess what? Every October, I think of YOU and my few friends who have breast cancer, have had breast cancer or who might have breast cancer. I wish you many, many years of cancer freedom. xoxox
